I picked up several promising looking novels at the library today.
Isolde, Queen of the Western Isle -- Rosalind Miles
The Night Circus -- Erin Morgenstern
An Accomplished Woman -- Jude Morgan
and a small copy of Tennyson poems.
I am more than excited to begin reading these novels, as they are all very different from one another. I have found that walking through the library and choosing several books at random without stopping is the best way to find hidden treasures. It introduces you to new genres and allows you to learn a lot without having to worry about actually purchasing the books -- that way if you don't like one of them or don't feel like finishing one of them you won't quibble over the loss of wasted money.
